ABOUT JSASA
The Japanese Studies Association in South Asia (JSASA) is a non-profit academic platform dedicated to advancing the study of Japan and Japanese Language across South Asia and beyond. It brings together scholars, educators, researchers, and professionals engaged in the teaching, research, and intellectual exploration of Japan, creating a vibrant and collaborative scholarly community.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To build and strengthen a network of scholars and professionals in Japanese Studies across South Asia and beyond.
To promote Japanese Language and Studies through academic exchange, collaboration, and interdisciplinary research.
To organize workshops, conferences, lectures, and other scholarly events in the field of Japanese Studies.
To support young and emerging scholars by providing platforms to present research and develop professional skills.
To advance excellence in research, teaching, and public engagement while upholding values of integrity, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
To build and strengthen a network of scholars and professionals in Japanese Studies across South Asia and beyond.
